Wrestling Preview
The wrestling team last year was pretty good; they made it to district finals and lost only by a couple of points.
Last year, three wrestlers, Mohamed Aljabaly, Kegan Brown, and Austin Siegel, made it to regionals, but only Mohamed Aljabaly made it to state.
This year, Coach Lenhardt expects a lot from the team because they have a lot of young, talented wrestlers and also lots of good, returning wrestlers.
The wrestling team expects to make it through districts and hopefully through regionals.
The wrestling team had a lot of wrestlers that graduated, but that won’t make a big impact on the team. Most of the team’s strongest wrestlers are returning wrestlers.
The wrestling team is looking forward to winning the conference and making it to state.
Also lots of individual wrestlers are looking forward to making it to state.
Moe Aljabaly and Austin Siegel were selected as captains by their team.
There will be a third rotating captain as well. This captain will be picked by the coach and wrestlers according to their weekly performance.
